From Mechanical Engineering to Software Delivery

How systems thinking from engineering translated into software architecture and execution.

Systems Thinking Travels Well

Mechanical engineering taught me to respect constraints, interfaces, and failure modes.

Software systems are different in medium, but not in responsibility. Good engineering still means understanding how parts interact and where things can break.

Execution Over Hype

My transition into software was not built on trends. It was built on repeated practice:

  • shipping real projects
  • learning modern tooling
  • improving product judgement
  • getting comfortable with ambiguity

The result is a stronger engineering profile, not a discarded one.
